What types of seafood do you offer? 

Our selection features a diverse range of fresh and frozen seafood, including fish, shrimp, Dungeness crabs, lobsters, scallops, and more. Due to seasonal availability and limited supply, our stock changes regularly. For current offerings, please contact us at (503) 771-5802.

Is your seafood available to the public?

Absolutely! Our retail market welcomes the public every day from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm. You can find us at 6509 SE Powell Blvd, Portland, OR 97206, and rest assured, there's ample free parking available.

How should I keep my live seafood fresh for storage and transportation?

To ensure your live seafood remains fresh, please follow these guidelines:

For Storage: If you wish to keep your seafood alive, store it in the refrigerator and plan to use it within one day. This is the maximum time we recommend for maintaining the best quality and liveliness. If you prefer, you can cook the seafood and then store it in the refrigerator, where it will stay fresh for 3-5 days.

For Transportation: To keep your seafood fresh during transport, use ice. We provide ice free of charge to ensure optimal conditions for your seafood. It's important not to put live seafood in water for transport; ice alone is sufficient to maintain freshness and quality.

Can I bring my own container or cooler for my seafood purchases?

Of course, you're welcome to bring your own container or cooler for your seafood purchases. We'll happily tare it for accurate pricing, so you pay just for the weight of the seafood. This helps in reducing packaging waste and contributes positively to the environment.

What packaging options do you offer for seafood transport?

For your convenience, we offer two options:

For shorter trips, our complimentary insulated paper bags with ice are a great eco-friendly option. They're designed to keep your seafood at the right temperature, ensuring it reaches your kitchen in perfect condition.

 

For larger purchases or longer journeys, consider our spacious styrofoam boxes. These are available for $15 each, with dimensions of 27x14x14 inches, ideal for keeping your seafood secure and insulated.

Can you clean and cut the fish and crab that I purchase?

Certainly! We offer complimentary cleaning and cutting services for fish, although please note that we do not provide fillet services. For crabs, we also provide cleaning and cutting. However, it is essential to cook the crab on the same day it’s cleaned to ensure optimal freshness and safety.

Do you offer delivery services?

We offer delivery services for wholesale orders and businesses. If you're a retail customer, you can create your own shipping labels for FedEx or UPS, and we'll be happy to assist with the shipment. Please note that we do not deliver to residential addresses.

What is the minimum for wholesale purchasing to ship out? 

For wholesale shipping, we require a minimum order of 50 lbs of product. This minimum helps optimize freight cost efficiency.

How much are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are determined by various factors. For airport-to-airport shipping, cargo stations typically range from $1.00 to $1.20 per pound of net weight, depending on the destination. FedEx and UPS rates vary based on shipment volume and destination. Generally, closer pick-up or delivery locations and higher order volumes result in more affordable freight costs. 

How do I pay for my order?

We accept credit card payments at the time of shipment. Freight charges can be paid separately or added to your existing invoice for your convenience.
